The End Pics

Seaside and Cannon Beach at the end with some of my family

Final Word

Final Odometer
In summary, I pedaled the 85 pound bike 4380 miles in 50 days. I lost 10 pounds of weight although I didn't want to.

To those of you that followed me, texted me, thought of me, and prayed for me, I thank you all.

Final word,

Good morning, and in case I don't see you, good afternoon, good evening and good night!

Day 50

All set. I rode the final stretch along the beach front sidewalk at Seaside. The family was there with signs of congratulations. Perfect ending. The sun was out and we had a wonderful day at the beach.

Day 49

I am moving along at a comfortable pace. I have coordinated with my family to meet them at Seaside, Oregon at the turnabout at the beach.  I have many great memories as a child on summer vacation with my family there. I will stop short today, put the tent up one more time. Tomorrow I will finish.

Day 48

Almost to the Pacific Ocean! Very Exciting.

Day 47

Lava Fields From Eruption

Sisters Mountains

I have been tackling the Oregon Mountains and putting some big mileage in every day. Today I crossed McKenzie Pass lava fields and saw the Sisters Mountains. Beautiful. I came across this alpaca herd. Must of been a couple hundred of them.
